What is Darshan?

During the festival, you will be able to receive Darshan – a personal meeting with Paramahamsa Vishwananda, during which you will receive a blessing through eye contact.

At the beginning of Darshan, there will be a lecture and a short meditation – led by Paramahamsa Vishwananda, which will be simultaneously translated into Polish.

Depending on the number of participants, there may be 2-3 rounds of Darshan. We ask for your patience and cooperation with volunteers during the organization of queues.

Technical information

Want to stay updated during the event? We recommend:

  • having a charged phone with you
  • bringing headphones if you prefer to listen to translation
  • installing the Telegram app, through which you will receive important information and access to live translation

Telegram is a simple messenger – if you want to try it, installation takes only a moment.

How to install Telegram?

  • Open the app store on your phone (Google Play on Android, App Store on iOS).
  • Search for “Telegram” and click “Install.”
  • After installation, launch the app and register using your phone number.

In the next email, you will receive from us:

  • Link to the information channel on Telegram – you will find all updates about the event there (e.g., program).
  • Link to the translation channel on Telegram – you will find the live translated lecture and meditation there.
  • Link to the YouTube channel – you will be able to watch the introductory lecture and guided meditation live if you are not in the Darshan hall or in the second hall with a telescreen at that moment.
  • Individual QR code – needed when confirming registration on site.

A few practical tips:

  • Entrance to the main Darshan hall requires removing shoes: we recommend bringing warm socks or a blanket/cushion for your feet, as the floor is stone. Bags for shoes will be provided on site, but we recommend bringing a backpack/bag for your personal belongings due to the lack of a cloakroom in the facility
  • Attire: Darshan is a special event, so we ask that your outfit be rather formal. At the same time, certain rules apply – long skirts or pants, covered shoulders (you can cover them with a shawl).
  • Please silence your phones and do not leave your belongings unattended.

Additional attractions

During the event, you will be able to:

  • Listen to and participate in kirtan, a concert of mantras and bhajans played live.
  • Visit the mini-bazaar with oriental products such as incense, cosmetics, jewelry.
  • Taste vegetarian and vegan dishes available on site.
  • Take part in spiritual conversations and listen to inspiring lectures.
  • Experience OM Chanting – a group technique harmonizing through sound.
